Secret Service agents paid a visit today to the Virginia winery of Michaele and Tareq Salahi but were informed by an employee of Oasis Winery that the couple was not there. The tasting room manager, Diane Weiss, inquired if the Salahis were in trouble and an agent replied with “We’re not here to arrest them today. We’re just looking to talk to them. It’s very imperative that we talk to them.”

It is becoming more than apparent that Northern Virginia socialites Tareq and Michaele Salahi are no strangers to “crashing” parties. The couple have photos posted on their Facebook page that purportedly show them in prime locations during President Obama’s inauguration.  Both Tareq and Michaele Salahi can be seen in photos in the first family’s glass-enclosed viewing area after a concert at the Lincoln Memorial.

I myself attended the grand opening of the Hela Spa and Ted Gibson Salon which the Salahis were also in attendance (with several other alleged DC Housewives). Upon review of the pictures taken at the grand opening it is easy to spot who seemed to want as much face time as possible.

America’s most successful party crashers, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, who stormed the gates of a White House state dinner and somehow managed to get in, may soon be facing criminal charges, according to the Secret Service.

Secret Service spokesman Jim Mackin says the agency is moving closer to beginning a criminal investigation. He says that’s one reason the Secret Service hasn’t yet explained what happened when Michaele and Tareq Salahi arrived at the security checkpoint Tuesday for the dinner honoring Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The Salahi’s came to national attention when they posted photos of themselves attending the White House event on their public Facebook account. In the images, Michaele Salahi, 44, a former Washington Redskins cheerleader, and her 41-year-old husband, Tareq Salahi, who is co-founder of the Land Rover America’s Polo Cup and heir to a Virginia winery, can be seen glad-handing with politicians, journalists, and even a group of Marines.
