Christina Aguilera and Kelis both have new albums on the way and each have a new song from said albums making rotation. Christina is offering “Not Myself Tonight” and Kelis is featuring her “Acapella”. Although Kelis already has the accompanying video…Thoughts? I know which way I am leaning but I’d be curious to hear thoughts on each.

A Drag Performer named “BM” (I’m not even sure where to start on that one) who performed on ‘Pilipinas Got Talent‘ is giving less “Lip sync for your life” and more “Run for your life”! The horse realness is fierce…ferosh even, which quickly turns to nightmarish as she…sings?

Men's Skin Care and Shaving Products

Men's Skin Care and Shaving Products

Last minute plans are nothing new, so your skin care regimen should be conducive to every man’s on the go lifestyle. Long gone are the days of lathering up with the same bar of soap used on the mentionables that shall go without mention. While the options on the market range from local pharmacy-brand skincare to small tubes of organic ointment that would require taking out a second mortgage to afford. Don’t be intimidated but don’t grab the first thing off the shelf either. Here are a few tips for a quick, effective, and reasonably priced skin care regimen that is a fine fit for every fellow.

The Before and After (of shaving)

Before you shave it is important to soften stubborn stubble with a cleansing your face and exfoliating (two to three times a week). Generally men have large pores and sebaceous glands that can leave you looking like you washed your face with fried chicken (which is never a good look). While cleansing is a necessity, it is sometimes not enough; exfoliating a few times a week will help remove debris that a daily face wash might miss. Choose a face wash that will cut through the oily mess you may be dealing with and an exfoliant that contains granules which will help smooth your skin and alleviate clogged pores.

Both cleansing and exfoliating should be done before shaving which will soften the new facial hair growth and help with a better shave. Sephora offers an abundance of facial cleansing and exfoliating options. A reasonably

priced, highly rated facial cleanser to consider would be Purity Made Simple by Philosophy which is sold in 3oz to 24oz bottles, (*Est. Cost $10-$40). Philosophy Purity Made Simple is a ph-balanced formula that rapidly dissolves dirt deep cleans pores. Purity Made Simple is one of Sephora’s best-selling cleansers and contains infusions of sage, chamomile, and carrot.

On those days that require a little something extra, give Anthony Logistics for Men Facial Scrub consideration. The spherical beads will clean, rejuvenate and scrub away impurities and dead skin cells which help to prevent ingrown hairs. Anthony Logistics For

Men can be found in 4oz and 8oz bottles (*Est. Cost $20 to $35).

When it comes to the choice of manual razor reviews by newspapers, magazines and online surveys show an even split between the Gillette Fusion (*Est. Cost $11), $3 each for replacement cartridges and the Gillette Mach3 Turbo (*Est. Cost $10 for razor), $2 apiece for replacement cartridges. What is most likely obvious to most but cannot go without mentioning is do not dry shave! Of course if you enjoy the feeling of shearing off your skin and the cuts, nicks, and unpleasant razor burn left behind from dry shaving have at it. For those, however, that know that a little lubrication goes a long way will find any shave cream, gel, or oil will do the trick. Simply remember to shave with the grain following the flow of the hair and things will go smoothly.

Once you’ve cleansed, scrubbed, and shaved the end of your regime is in sight. Always important, but oft forgot is the final step…moisturize. The process of a hot shower and a shave will open your pores thus allowing a lot of the water that keeps your face teenager soft will be lost. Choose a light moisturizer with SPF (to keep the UVB rays from causing those premature wrinkles we all hate) and appropriate moisture levels will be returned to

your fresh face. Consider Jack Black’s Double Duty Face Moisturizer with SPF 20 (*Est. Cost $26) which will provide lasting hydration without adding oiliness. Double Duty Face Moisturizer is made from natural ingredients to help visibly improve skin’s overall appearance with UVA and UVB protection plus potent antioxidants help shield skin from premature aging due to sun exposure.

These are only a few suggestions on reasonably priced products and steps that any man can use and integrate into his daily regime. There are, of course, other suggestions to be made, such as under eye creams, acne treatments, and facial treatments but this will provide a good base to build upon.

“I don’t believe love has a gender,” the wig-line-designer-turned-singer told Life & Style magazine. “But I don’t want to define gay, bisexual or straight. I just think it’s too much for me — a woman doesn’t define me, nor does a man.”

Zolciak, who has kept fans guessing for two seasons as to the identity of her anonymous boyfriend referred to only as “Big Poppa,” told the mag that she and DJ Tracy Young grew close while working on a remix to her singe “Tardy For the Party.”

Tampa, FL – A self employed female impersonator was arrested in Tampa at his home over the weekend after violating probation.

Records in Volusia County show that 24 year-old Charles Thomas was originally arrested by Volusia County deputies on Sept. 29, 2009 after he tried to buy two MP3 players and a T.V. at a Big Lots store near Orange City with a fraudulent check in the amount of $329. Deputies also arrested a co-defendant ,Christopher Hart for giving them a false name.

Court records show that Thomas pled no contest last month to grand theft and possession of an unauthorized ID card and was sentenced to two years probation. On March 19, a warrant was issued charging Thomas with a probation violation.
